I'm actually amazed at how well your gray shading is done. I think it's BRILLIANT how you create a perfect balance of lights and darks. You don't need screentones cuz it's done so well. Your shading is what makes the comic come alive. I truly love your style.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to see Larrys version too. Very Happy

I like to work on regular standard comic size ( 11x17 ) paper. I ink with a bunch of different sized ink pens. The smallest/ finest pen I use is .003mm. Very tiny. I have a 8x11 scanner so I have to cut my pages by a couple of panels at a time, then scan them in as a black and white document and I use Photoshop Element 3 in panoramic mode to paste them back together.

I haven't seen the tone library you mentioned. I use a software called Comicworks. It's a manga based software much like and made by the same company that makes my coloring software, CG Illust.
They are both very easy to use and don't require alot of RAM.
You can find both softwares at "www.deleter.jp/eng".
I also use these programs to letter my stuff. I got my fonts from Blambot CDroms I picked up at the comic convention. I used to use Mangastudio.Debut but it's kinda hard to learn. I still have it installed in case I need it for speedlines, but comicworks also does speedlines.

So yeah I use my computer alot for touching up and lettering and tones. It's probably my favorite part in the drawing process cuz it just makes it look so much better and almost professional looking. LOL Very Happy
